Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah Arrives at Court for Ghana Jollof Case
Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, lawyer for Techiman-based nurse Salomey Awiti Baffoe, has arrived at the Adenta Court complex as proceedings in the “Ghana Jollof” case continue.

Baffoe is facing a charge of abetment of crime, namely the publication of false news, in connection with alleged content linked to the anonymous “Ghana Jollof” TikTok account.
The prosecution alleges that Baffoe assisted in the publication and circulation of content on TikTok. She has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Her lawyer previously applied for bail, but the High Court refused the application on September 24, citing concerns that her release at that stage could interfere with witnesses and ongoing cyber-related investigations. The court subsequently directed the Republic to expedite its investigations.
The case was adjourned on September 30 because of the Association of Judges and Magistrates Conference and scheduled for October 5. Baffoe remained in custody following the earlier refusal of bail.
The proceedings are expected to provide further developments in the case as the court considers the allegations against Baffoe.
