JFK Campaign Team Denies Allegations Over Transportation Arrangements for NPP Delegates

The campaign team of Justin Kodua Frimpong (JFK) has denied allegations that the campaign is personally arranging and funding buses to transport delegates to Kumasi ahead of the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) elections.

In a statement dated September 29, 2026, the JFK Campaign Team described the allegations as unfounded and urged party members and delegates to rely on verified information.

The campaign explained that Justin Kodua Frimpong has no role in the organisation or administration of the upcoming National Delegates Conference or National Executive Elections.

According to the statement, arrangements concerning transportation, accommodation, feeding, accreditation, security and other logistics for the conference and elections are being handled by the appropriate party authorities and not by the JFK campaign.

The campaign team noted that responsibility for planning and conducting the National Executive Elections has been entrusted to the National Officers Elections Committee (NOEC). It added that any official arrangements regarding the transportation of delegates or other conference logistics would fall within the mandate of the relevant election authorities.

The statement comes as the NPP's internal elections approach, with the campaign team accusing some underperforming candidates of resorting to what it described as “baseless allegations and personal attacks.”

The JFK Campaign Team said it remains focused on engaging delegates based on Justin Kodua Frimpong's record, reforms undertaken during his leadership and his plans to strengthen the structures of the party.

“With the election fast approaching, we urge delegates, Party officers and the general public to disregard these claims and remain focused on the facts,” the campaign team said.

The team also wished the Elections Committee, aspirants, delegates and party supporters well ahead of the elections expected around October 3.

It further extended safe-travel wishes to NPP delegates and party members travelling to Kumasi, expressing hope that the exercise would strengthen the unity of the party.
