Ghana Armed Forces set dates for 2026/2027 enlistment screening

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) will begin the next stage of its 2026/2027 Enlistment Exercise on September 28, with qualified applicants required to attend a three-day Documentation and Body Selection Exercise.

The exercise will run from September 28 to 30 at designated centres in the Northern and Southern sectors, following the closure of online applications on September 23, 2026.

Qualified applicants will be notified by text message. The messages will provide details of their assigned centres, reporting dates and the instructions they must follow during the exercise.

Applicants who receive the notification are expected to report to their designated centres on the specified dates and comply with the directions issued by the Ghana Armed Forces.

In the Northern Sector, the exercise will take place at the 4 Infantry Battalion, Uaddara Barracks, Kumasi.

Applicants assigned to the Southern Sector must report to Nicholson Stadium at the Air Force Base in Accra.

The Documentation and Body Selection Exercise is the next phase of the recruitment process after the online application stage has been completed.

The Ghana Armed Forces has urged qualified applicants to pay close attention to the dates, designated centres and reporting instructions included in the text messages as they continue through the enlistment process.
